My artist origin story happened as a kid when I was incapable of giving my mom any personal space. I used to follow her into the bathroom anytime she was getting ready. She was and still is the queen of a thin winged liner. I used to watch her put on her brick rose blush and delicately wing out her liquid liner and something in me felt so at peace.

I'm based out of Maryland but you'll spot me across the DMV area and all along the East Coast. My journey in professional makeup began like many, in 2015 at the height of beauty Youtube culture. There’s an archive in my camera roll somewhere of all the questionable glitter cut crease looks I did on myself.

After practicing on my sister and friends at least one million times, I decided it was time to commit. Many mentorships and courses later, I joined a wedding beauty team with a few brushes and a dream. 8 years have passed since that first beauty team and I always look back on that courageous version of me with pride. I’ve been so fortunate to work with and learn from incredible creatives fueling my passion for artistry and launched the very thing you’re looking at, Lux by Lily.

As someone who's always been described as having 'a lot of feelings,' it's not lost on me how special it is to be a part of someone’s core memories.

Every look is personalized to make you feel your best without losing the essence of your authentic self.

My signature style? Think intentional soft makeup— glowing glamour that feels effortlessly wearable, authentic to you and every brush stroke carefully thought out.

how to get me yappin’

  • My comfort movies are usually loud and obnoxious. Stuff I can turn my brain off for, yanno? Fast and Furious, The Dark Knight, Avengers, etc.

  • I’m a Leo sun, Aries moon, Pisces rising.

  • Coffee asap. Feed Cheese and Beans (my cats) also asap or they will yell at me. And sometimes cottage cheese on toast. Oh, and skincare!

  • As a Salvadorian, I have to say pupusas. I could be having the worst day but some pupusas revueltas would cure me.

  • I’m the oldest of four girls! My sisters are my besties and we bring out the most hyper versions of each other.

  • I’m getting married this year! I feel like a double agent being on both side’s of the wedding industry.

  • I was an English major in college and went to grad school for education on track to become a high school teacher. Still love a good book but I’d rather wash brushes than grade exams.

  • Soooo sorry, but I am one. I love to sit down with a meal and prop up a little Youtube video. Always about some niche topic or a pop culture rant.
